Charlene Carruthers is a leading voice in our movements for racial, gender, disability and economic justice. She is a co-founder of Black Youth Project 100 and author of "Unapologetic: a Black Queer and Feminist Mandate for Radical Movements." She says, “Yes I am Black, yes I am a lesbian, yes I am queer, yes I am a woman and my eyes are squarely centered on Black Liberation.”

She recently published Invisible No More: Police Violence Against Black Women and Women of Color now available from Beacon Press.
