Songs for Justice

We will walk a 20 minute circuit around downtown, with a particular focus on Armory Square, singing an anti-racist song ("Which Side Are You On"). The goal is to call in white folks and ask them to show up to at least one of the two Black Lives Matter marches the next day. We will pass out information about when and where to meet for those marches as we walk.

Meet at Perseverance Park at 6 to go over the route, song, and roles. Bring signs with slogans like "White silence = violence" or "Black Lives Matter" etc. Please do not bring signs that say things like "Fuck the Police." It will be counter productive to the BLM marches on Monday if we piss off the police on Sunday.

There will also be sign making at 221 Green St., Apt. 7 at 5 PM if you would like to join!
